Burgas Fan collects only the information needed to understand visitor demand, provide requested updates and operate the Burgas Fan Pass.
Information we collect
When you join early access we collect your email, country, travel status, approximate stay dates when supplied, group size, interests and campaign attribution. Marketing consent is a separate, optional choice. Partner enquiries include business and contact details supplied through the partner form. When sales open, we will also process order and pass information. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by Burgas Fan.
Cookies and similar technologies
Nothing optional runs before you choose. Until then the only storage we use is what the site needs to work: the sign-in session for the administration area, and the record of the choices you make here. That record is kept for one year, in your browser under burgasfan_analytics, burgasfan_marketing and burgasfan_support, both in local storage and in cookies of the same names, so the question is not asked again on your next visit.
- Strictly necessary. Always on. Used only by this site and never shared with a third party.
- Analytics. Nothing is measured until you allow it. If you do, Google Analytics 4 is loaded, Google receives your page and device data and sets its own cookies, whose names begin with
_ga. From that point we also send events describing how the site is used: page views, an early-access or partner enquiry being submitted, a founder offer being shown, a question in a frequently-asked list being opened, a link into the city guide being followed, a checkout being started, a purchase being completed, and the cookie choice you make here. Those events carry the page, offer, question, link or pass they refer to, and for a purchase its order reference, value and items. What you type into our forms is not part of them and is not sent to Google. - Marketing measurement. If you allow it, advertising storage and personalisation signals are switched on for Google, and the Meta Pixel is loaded when a pixel is configured for the site, which lets Meta receive your visit and set cookies whose names begin with
_fbpor_fbc. This is what lets us measure and target campaigns. - Support chat. If you allow it, Intercom is loaded as described below.
Before Google’s tag is allowed to load, we set every optional Google consent signal to denied. Allowing analytics or marketing switches on only the matching signals, and withdrawing switches them straight back to denied.
Checkout reminders
What it is. If you tick the separate, unticked box at checkout, and only then, we may send you exactly one email about that one unfinished checkout. It is sent no earlier than 24 hours after you started, only if the order is still unpaid, and never after payment. There is no second reminder, ever.
Legal basis. Your consent, given for that specific order. It is a separate choice from marketing consent and from the early-access list: your marketing or waitlist consent is never used to justify a checkout reminder, and a checkout reminder never adds you to a marketing list.
What we store. On the order itself: the email address you entered at checkout, the moment you gave the reminder consent, the moment the single reminder was claimed for sending, and the moment you opted out, if you did. The email contains a private, signed link back to your own checkout that expires after 48 hours; do not forward it.
How long. These three timestamps live for as long as we keep the order record, because they are the proof of what you agreed to and of what we sent. An opt-out is kept indefinitely, so that we can keep honouring it.
How to stop it. Every reminder carries a “Stop reminders about this order” link and a standard one-click unsubscribe your mail app can use. Either one stops checkout reminders for your email address permanently, including on any future order, and neither is triggered by a mail scanner merely opening the link.
Who processes it. Resend delivers the email, Stripe hosts the payment page the link returns you to, and our own database and job queue hold the consent and send records. No advertising or analytics provider receives your email address.
Support conversations
If you allow the optional support chat, Intercom processes the messages and details you choose to provide, together with first-party identifiers used to maintain the conversation on your device. The chat is not loaded before you consent and is not loaded on private pass, administration, checkout-success or unsubscribe pages. Conversations may first be answered by an AI support agent and can be transferred to a person.
Why we use it
- To send the updates you requested.
- To plan useful content and partner benefits.
- To respond to support and partner enquiries.
- To fulfil orders and operate digital passes.
- To measure campaign performance and prevent abuse.
Your choices
You can change or withdraw any optional cookie choice at any time with the button below, or through the same banner on any page. A withdrawal takes effect immediately: we stop sending events, we tell Google and Meta that consent is denied, and we expire the _ga, _fbp and _fbc identifiers we can reach from this site. A script that a provider has already loaded into the open page cannot be removed until you reload it, and cookies those providers set on their own domains can be cleared in your browser settings. You can unsubscribe securely through any marketing email. You may request access, correction or deletion by writing to [email protected].
Retention and sharing
We keep early-access and enquiry data while the project is active or until it is no longer needed. Marketing messages stop when consent is withdrawn. We use service providers for hosting, email, support, analytics, advertising measurement and payments only where necessary to provide the service. Google, Meta and Intercom are based outside Bulgaria and may process data about your visit outside the European Economic Area.
